ABOUT JOHNNY RAY:
Johnny Ray is a
third generation native Bostonian who grew up in Brookline and made a
name for himself as a singer and entertainer in the north shore towns of
Marblehead, Swampscott, Salem, Manchester By The Sea, and Lynn. His
popularity on Horizons Edge Casino Cruise Lines of Lynn caught the eye
of a Las Vegas talent agent and launched his
long career in the showrooms of Las
Vegas.
With a passionate love for his hometown of Boston Johnny has
been instrumental in raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for
numerous charities around the Commonwealth including, THE JIMMY FUND (To
benefit Children with Cancer), THE ELLIE FUND (To benefit breast Cancer
research), THE MASSACHUSETTS BREAST CANCER COALITION, THE JOEY FUND
(For children with cystic fibrosis), THE STAR HOUSE (Inovative care and
housing for children of need), THE BROOKLINE ATHELETIC ASSOCIATION, THE
JIMMY MATTIMOE SCHOLARSHIP FUND, ANTIONE WALKER FOUNDATION (To create
positive after school programs for inner city youths), THE CYSTIC
FIBROSIS FOUNDATION, as well as, for other communities such as, THE SAFE
HARBOR PROJECT OF WEST PALM BEACH FLA. and THE CLARK COUNTY PUBLIC
EDUCATION FOUNDATION OF LAS VEGAS Clark County Public Education
Foundation.
